LEVEL 2 – SCENEWORK

Level 2 builds on the foundation learned in the Intro course, and propels you into the heart of improv – the scene. Through a variety of games and formats, you’ll focus on relationships, developing characters, and building your performance skills as you develop the playful improviser within.

In this 6-week introductory class, we’ll explore the foundations of successful improvisation: agreement, collaboration and commitment. These skills enhance listening and play, while creating a strong foundation for improv comedy scenes. Instructor Richard Martinez

A one night event! We’ll delve into the physicality and misunderstandings that make British farce a brilliant art form, on the way to immersing classic tropes and characters for 25-minute original farces.

Discover the laughs and joy improv comedy brings to the soul in a super-fun, 2 hour free workshop. Learn how to think on your feet, increase confidence, and build characters on stage. It’s a great way to test the waters. Open only to those that have never taken a Held2gether class before.
IMPROV TO VOICE OVER

This introductory course is geared towards anyone interested in learning the foundation of voice over technique, all from the comfort of your living room. With an emphasis on story telling and strong acting, we’ll cover commercials, animation, script analysis, improvising for voice over, and getting comfortable behind the mic. ! No prior experience necessary. Instructed by Daniel Cohen
